The first in our new series spotlighting the Foundry community

We’re kicking off our new “Meet the Foundry Community” blog series with a closer look at Art-Management, a consulting company that brings together the worlds of business and contemporary art. Founded and run by Oksana Polyanska, a certified art expert and passionate advocate for the role of art in daily life and professional spaces, Art-Management offers a unique mix of exhibitions, expert services, and tailor-made art solutions for both individuals and companies.

Profile Overview

Name: Oksana Polyanska

Company: Art-Management

Art-Management is a consulting company that operates at the dynamic intersection of art and business. From curating exhibitions and selling contemporary art to offering tailor-made B2B services such as bespoke art events, branding through art, and collection management, Art-Management brings creativity and strategic thinking to both private and corporate clients.

Led by Oksana Polyanska — a certified art expert (expert d’art assermenté) recognised by the Luxembourg Ministry of Justice — Art-Management provides official services such as authentication, appraisal, and certification for insurance, notaries, institutions, and collectors. Oksana joined Foundry one week before the COVID lockdown in March 2020, turning what could have been a challenge into a long-term adventure.

Why Foundry? “It’s an ideal place to showcase our concept ‘Art4Business,’” she says. “Art should do more than decorate — it should reflect a company’s mission, express its message visually, and enhance every space: sparking dialogue in meeting rooms, motivating in work areas, and adding a sense of calm in lounges.”

She also values the location: a character-filled old villa transformed into a modern business centre in the heart of Luxembourg, perfect for networking events, after-work drinks, and exclusive art gatherings. Thanks to Foundry’s flexible access hours, Art-Management can welcome clients on appointment — even outside traditional gallery hours.

Spotlight

In 2024, Art-Management announced a partnership with Das Kunstmuseum (Austria). Together, we are presenting works by the renowned Greek-Austrian architect and painter Makis Warlamis, including serigraphs and paintings, in Luxembourg. And yes, Foundry coworkers now pass museum pieces on their way to meetings!

Q&A with Oksana Polyanska

1. Tell us about yourself and how Art-Management began.

I’m an art advisor and certified art expert based in Luxembourg. I studied in Ukraine and Germany, bringing dual experience from both the business and art worlds. My “superpower” is doing what I love with diligence and joy, and being Ukrainian. Alongside my professional activities, I actively support charitable causes, including auctions and fundraisers for Handicap International, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and local initiatives here in Luxembourg.

2. When did you join Foundry, and why?

I joined just before the first lockdown in March 2020! It’s been a journey, and I’m grateful to have found a space that supports the vision behind Art-Management — one that combines functionality, soul, and inspiration.

3. How does being at Foundry support your work or goals?

Foundry’s unique vibe is what makes it so powerful. It blends comfort with a human-first business approach, offering flexibility that allows me to meet clients even late in the evening or on weekends. The community here is curious, smart, and open-minded. I love sharing art with people who might not otherwise seek it out — it’s a gift.

4. What are you working on that you’re excited about?

Currently, I’m developing a series of exhibitions connected to cross-cultural and philosophical themes. We’ve just launched the Warlamis partnership, which brings contemporary museum-quality work into everyday workspaces.

5. What’s coming up next?

I love intellectual LEGO! I believe that true innovation happens where disciplines meet. In autumn 2025, we’ll be exploring "Theology & Fashion" through the lens of art. The program will feature Dominican theologian Dr. Alberto Fabio Ambrosio, a professor and researcher based in Paris, who will lead the discussion. It’s going to be a one-of-a-kind exploration.

6. What’s something people might not know about you or your business?

I grew up in a museum — literally. My grandmother worked there. As a student, before I started smoking, I began selling artworks by family friends — my grandfather’s circle included sculptors, architects, and restorers. Art has always been around me. Today, I see my work as a way of giving back what I’ve learned. I also take pride in mentoring young people and teaching children about art history, helping to shape our cultural future.

7. Where can people learn more about you?

Final Word

Oksana brings not only museum-quality art to Foundry but also a spirit of curiosity and care that enriches our community every day. Her work is a reminder that business can be beautiful — and that creativity belongs in every corner of a working life.
