Y.S.Oneness is a creative space where art, culture, design, and mindful living flow into daily life.

Founded by Chinese ink painter, architect, and illustrated book author Yemin Yin, Y.S.

Oneness cultivates a vibrant ecosystem of art exhibitions, cultural workshops, illustrated

books and animation, design services, and international exchanges — bringing

harmony, beauty, and depth to modern life.

Overview

Name: Yemin Yin

Company: Y.S. Oneness

Y.S. Oneness believes that art and culture should be lived and experienced, not confined to galleries.

With this vision, the studio offers a wide range of programs that bridge Eastern and

Western aesthetics, combining traditional Chinese wisdom with contemporary design

and modern lifestyle experiences.

The studio’s work spans four main areas:

Art —Exhibitions and original Chinese ink paintings and calligraphy, including the

current Sense the Essence exhibition at Foundry in 2025.

Publishing & Illustrated Books — Creation and customization of illustrated books that

blend Eastern aesthetics with modern visual storytelling; a new illustrated book will be

published in Taiwan this autumn.

Experience — Workshops in Chinese ink painting, sutra copying, Chinese martial arts

(Tai Chi and Ba Duan Jin), and curated European art tours.

Design — Full-scope design services across architecture, interior spaces, visual

identity, and exhibition design — in projects ranging from schools and hotels to private

residences.

Motto: Sense the Essence | 不二無界 — a guiding principle that celebrates depth,

simplicity, and universal connection.

Why Foundry?

Foundry is an ideal space to foster cross-cultural dialogue and creative exchange. The

Foundry community is not only inclusive and welcoming, but also highly professional,

with a genuine appreciation for art and culture.

The space itself is flexible and warm — whether for hosting exhibitions, creative

workshops, or more immersive mindful and cultural experiences, it provides an inspiring

and supportive environment.

For us, Foundry is both a platform for presentation and dialogue, and a community

where creative ideas and collaborations can continuously flourish.

This exhibition features 11 signature works by Yemin Yin, blending traditional Chinese

ink art with modern expressions. It also includes a rare piece by 84-year-old calligraphy

master Lin Shengquan, whose monumental 3-meter scroll of the Heart Sutra will be on

display.

Y.S. Oneness is also planning new editions of its highly popular Chinese ink painting

workshops and sutra copying sessions — open to both individuals and corporate

groups.

Q&A With Yemin

1. Tell us about yourself (or your company).

I am a Chinese ink painter, architect, and illustrated book author. I’ve always believed

that art should be part of everyday life. Y.S. Oneness grew from this vision — to create

a space where art, culture, and design come together to inspire and enrich people’s

lives.

2. When did you join Foundry, and why did you choose it as your base?

We were introduced to Foundry through friends. After visiting and learning more about

the space, we felt the overall creative and open atmosphere was a perfect fit for us.

3. How does being at Foundry support your work or your goals?

Foundry provides an ideal venue to host our exhibitions, workshops, and cultural

programs. The space is inspiring and flexible, and the community is full of people who

appreciate the value of art and cultural experiences.

4. What are you working on right now that you’re particularly excited about?

We are currently preparing for the closing event of the Sense the Essence exhibition on

June 20th.

We are also planning to continue hosting our Ink Painting Workshops across different

locations and institutions in Luxembourg.

5. What’s coming up next?

At the same time, we are actively preparing for our participation in the LuxExpo

International Bazaar this November. We hope to present more art and design pieces

that can enrich everyday life.

6. What’s something people might not know about you or your business?

My background in architecture and urban design has given me a unique perspective:

whether working on a painting, a space, or a cultural experience, I strive to explore the

delicate relationship between tradition and modernity, art and life, illusion and reality.

In recent years, I’ve also been deeply engaged in preserving ancient cities and cultural

heritage, and in capturing the stories of ordinary people through my art and illustrated

books. To me, art is not only about beauty — it is about creating meaningful, heartfelt

connections across time, space, and human experience.
